José Carlos Flores Cuéllar

Regional Director – Honduras | Tegucigalpa, Honduras

José Carlos Flores Cuéllar is the Regional Director of Honduras at Total Impact Capital. He oversees all operations related to Azure Source Capital (ASC) in Honduras, such as creating financial products, underwriting Intermediary Financial Institutions (IFIs), managing the relationships with the Trustee and the IFIs, and providing advisory services to water service providers (WSPs) regarding credit readiness. He is also supporting TOTAL with other projects in the region, such as World Tree and FEF.

Prior to Total Impact Capital:

José worked as a Project Manager in a construction company, a role he held for two years before pivoting to finance. He then served as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking at Banco Davivienda for five years, managing portfolios in energy, housing, agriculture, and retail.

José holds a degree in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Project Management.

Outside of work, José enjoys:

Playing video games and sports such as mountain biking, soccer, and table tennis. He is also fond of listening to music, watching anime and movies, and has a keen interest in exploring new places to learn about different cultures.
