Bart Schaap

Bart has 20+ years of experience working with Impact Investors and Development Finance Institutions in fundraising and structuring, and closing innovative finance solutions across different countries and cultures. He incubated and scaled Medical Credit Fund Africa as its CFO, where he was also responsible for launching various ground-breaking Fintech products for the healthcare sector. Bart started his career as a credit-risk specialist at Standard and Poor’s in London and later headed a team that implemented an advanced credit rating framework for corporates at Dutch bank NIBC.
